The show was billed as the “2 Of A Perfect Trio” tour. Set one was the trio Stick Men, consisting of Tony Levin, Markus Reuter and Pat Mastelotto. Next was the Adrian Belew Power Trio, featuring Julie Slick and guest drummer Danny Carey, from the band Tool. The real treat was the third set, made up of all King Crimson material. Belew, Levin and Mastelotto, all Crimson members, started it off as yet another trio, adding Carey, Slick and Reuter as the set progressed. By the time all six of them finished the encore, the concert had topped three hours. Who needs Robert Fripp, anyway?
